Name our Campaign

Help us come up with a new name for our “Dog Plogging” initiative to encourage dog owners to pick up litter from the streets on their walks. We’re hoping to find a name that’s easily understood and doesn’t require further explanation. Entries must be received by October 28th. The SPDOA will then look through all the entries and the best entry will be chosen to win two tickets to Chefs’ Night for PAWS on November 5th. See the full contest rules below.

contest rules:

  • Entries will be accepted from October 8th to October 28th. All entries must be received by 11:59 PM on October 28th.

  • You must be at least 18 years of age and a U.S. resident.

  • Anyone can submit ideas, but only current members of the SPDOA will be eligible to win our grand prize. Need to renew your membership? Visit our Membership page.

  • In the event that multiple people submit the same name, only the first entry (according to the date & time logged by our website) will be eligible to win our grand prize.

  • The SPDOA reserves the right to disqualify entries for any reason, including entries which are considered by the SPDOA to be inappropriate, offensive, or fraudulent and entries which do not match the vision of our litter-free initiative.

  • Entries must not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, rights of privacy, publicity or other intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity.

  • By entering, you grant the SPDOA the permanent, non-exclusive, unlimited right to publish and reproduce the submitted name without gaining permission or providing compensation.

  • Current and past SPDOA board members are welcome and encouraged to enter into the contest, but anyone who enters will not be able to vote for the winning submission. Anyone may participate in the Facebook poll on the Seger Dog Park page, but the final decision will be made by the SPDOA president and any other board members who choose not to participate in the contest.
